Photosensitivity and motion notice
This site is styled like an old computer and video screen. It uses flashing, flicker, scan lines, typing effects, moving pictures and a short animated intro the first time the home page loads. We keep flashes under three per second and avoid full-screen flashes, but some people may still be affected.
If you have photosensitive epilepsy, a history of seizures, migraines, a vestibular condition or motion sensitivity, turn motion off before you continue. Stop using the site and get medical help if you feel dizzy or unwell, or notice changes in your vision, eye or muscle twitching, loss of awareness, confusion or any movement you can't control.
Turning motion off
Any of these stops the flashing, flicker, intro and moving effects:
- The Motion control at the bottom of every page, or this one: . It lasts until you close the tab.
- Your device's reduce motion setting. On a Mac or iPhone: Settings, Accessibility, Motion (or Display), Reduce Motion. On Windows: Settings, Accessibility, Visual effects, Animation effects off. On Android: Settings, Accessibility, Remove animations.
- During the intro, press Esc to skip it, or M to skip it and turn motion off.
Sound
Nothing on the site plays sound on its own. The intro can play a short sound only after you press a key or tap during it.
Our approach
We want everyone to be able to read about our work and book a call. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA: the site works with a keyboard, headings and links are labelled for screen readers, text has strong contrast, and the legal pages use a plain reading mode. Decorative pictures and animations are hidden from screen readers; what they show is also in the text.
We are a one-person studio and we keep improving the site. Some parts may not work perfectly with every device or assistive technology yet.
If something doesn't work for you
Email us with the page and what went wrong. We'll fix what we can and give you the information, or book your call, another way in the meantime. You can also read our Website Terms.
